Overview
Westgate Trucking LLC is looking for a dependable and experienced Class A CDL Driver to join our team. You'll be responsible for operating a truck and live floor trailer safety within our local area. This position requires adherence to all traffic laws and regulations, professionalism and customer service.

Responsibilities

Drive a truck with a 53 ft live floor trailer / lowbed trailer deliver mulch/machinery to designated locations.
Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, routes taken, and deliveries made.
Operate manual transmission vehicles (required).
Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients regarding delivery status and any potential issues.

Qualifications

Valid Class A CDL & clean driving record.
Familiarity with local routes and traffic patterns.
Time management skills and able to work independently.
Friendly customer service, communication and attention to detail.
Familiarity with DOT regulations.
Adherence to safety regulations per site/drop off.
Maintain cleanliness of trucks and equipment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $28.00 - $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 60 per week
