Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting freight safely and efficiently to various locations. This role requires a strong understanding of route driving, vehicle operation, and adherence to safety regulations. The Truck Driver will operate different types of trucks, including dump trucks and flatbed trailers

Duties

Operate trucks to transport goods over designated routes.
Load and unload freight using forklifts or manual methods as required.
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance.
Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, routes traveled, and cargo transported.
Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving.
Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding delivery schedules and any issues encountered on the road.
Ensure proper handling of freight during loading and unloading processes.
Manage cargo securement to prevent damage during transit.

Qualifications

Valid commercial driver's license (CDL).
Experience driving various types of trucks such as dump trucks, refrigerated trailers, and tankers is preferred.
Proficiency in operating manual transmission vehicles.
Familiarity with route driving and navigation skills.
Ability to load and unload freight safely and efficiently.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety practices.
Excellent communication skills for interacting with team members and clients.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $76,000.00 - $96,400.00 per year
