Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting freight safely and efficiently to various locations. This role requires a strong understanding of route driving, vehicle operation, and adherence to safety regulations. The Truck Driver will operate different types of trucks, including dump trucks and flatbed trailers
Duties
- Operate trucks to transport goods over designated routes.
- Load and unload freight using forklifts or manual methods as required.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance.
- Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, routes traveled, and cargo transported.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding delivery schedules and any issues encountered on the road.
- Ensure proper handling of freight during loading and unloading processes.
- Manage cargo securement to prevent damage during transit.
Qualifications
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL).
- Experience driving various types of trucks such as dump trucks, refrigerated trailers, and tankers is preferred.
- Proficiency in operating manual transmission vehicles.
- Familiarity with route driving and navigation skills.
- Ability to load and unload freight safely and efficiently.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety practices.
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with team members and clients.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Pay: $76,000.00 - $96,400.00 per year
