Overview
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to safety and efficiency while operating various types of vehicles. This role involves transporting goods, equipment, or passengers in a timely manner while adhering to all traffic regulations and company policies. A successful Driver will demonstrate excellent driving skills, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to handle heavy equipment.

Duties
- Operate commercial vehicles including buses, tractor-trailers, and tow trucks safely and efficiently.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations.
- Transport goods or passengers to designated locations while maintaining schedules.
- Load and unload cargo as necessary, utilizing forklifts or other heavy equipment when required.
- Maintain accurate records of trips, vehicle maintenance, and any incidents that occur during transport.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding routes, schedules, and any issues that arise.
- Adhere to all safety protocols, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) when operating heavy machinery.
Qualifications
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with appropriate endorsements for the type of vehicle operated.
- Experience in residential CDL driving or heavy haul transportation is preferred.
- Mechanical knowledge to perform basic maintenance on vehicles is a plus.
- Familiarity with heavy equipment operation such as forklifts or tow trucks is advantageous.
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends or holidays if required.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety practices.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
