Job Overview
GET HOME DAILY!! We are seeking a skilled and reliable Dedicated Account Truck Driver to join our transportation team. This account delivers jugs and bottled water to NYC (including the Burroughs), NJ and Long Island in a dry van trailer. The work week is Sunday-Thursday with start times between 4 PM and 8 PM. All no touch, drop and hook freight. Off on Friday and Saturday. THIS IS A NIGHT SHIFT POSITION. Accessory pays, drop and hook pays and Detention pays. You will be home every day!! Deliver to Distribution Centers. Great company benefits for you and your family.
Responsibilities
- Plan routes effectively to ensure timely delivery of goods.
- Conduct pre-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
- Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, vehicle maintenance, and deliveries.
- Communicate with dispatchers regarding schedules, delays, or issues on the road.
- Adhere to all local, state, and federal driving regulations.
- Provide excellent customer service during deliveries.
Qualifications:
- Must have at least 1 year of recent experience
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Must have a valid CDL A license
- Knowledge of safety protocols related to commercial driving.
- Strong communication skills for effective interaction with dispatchers and customers.
- Must have a decent MVR
- Cannot have more then 8 jobs in 3 years.
